Hot off the heels of CES 2025, Samsung is holding the first of its live biannual events tomorrow, January 22. At Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025, we’re expecting to see the next generation of Samsung phones.
Although Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed exactly what will be unveiled during the live event, it’s all but certain that we will be getting a look at the new Galaxy S25 phones – because you can already reserve your preorder. This will likely include the S25, the S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra. Alongside these phones, there will also most likely be new features and software updates.

How to Watch Galaxy Unpacked Live – Date and Time
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025 is set to stream live on January 22 at 10am PT/1pm PT. It will be hosted on the Samsung YouTube page, its website, and its newsroom page. Based on previous Unpacked events, the livestream will likely run for about 60 minutes.
What to Expect from the Event
Although Samsung hasn’t revealed much in terms of official details, the company’s press release for the event suggests a heavy focus on the improvements of Galaxy AI in the new generation of phones. There’s already a teaser for a “true AI companion.” This shouldn’t be all that surprising considering we’ve seen much the same from the iPhone 16 launch, as well as the Google Pixel phones from last year.
In terms of what new phones to expect, we have somewhat of an idea thanks to leaked images that dropped last week that show off designs for the Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra in four different color options. Overall, the new phones look pretty much the same as the S24 line with the main difference seemingly being that the S25 Ultra has more rounded corners than the S24 Ultra.
Preorders for the new phones will begin tomorrow, either during or immediately following the livestream. Samsung is currently offering bonus savings for those who reserve their preorders before the event begins.
